Eminem's newly released The Marshall Mathers LP 2 was one of the most highly-anticipated releases of this year, and in all rights it lived up to its name. The album is littered with incredible tunes that justify why Em is indeed a 'Rap God'. I've been addicted to the song ever since it was released, and today we got the video for it which pushes it to a level I didn't think it were possible to obtain. The video is incredible and stunning beyond belief. There's so much going on it's almost hard to write about. The video opens with Eminem playing on pop culture and creating an exaggerated reality which is one of his fortes before moving on to seeing an Eminem robot being constructed. We then venture to scenes of him rapping underground with his homies whisking us away to 8 Mile where we're reminded of his roots, and then he moves in an out of portals that emanate from the tubes in the Super Mario games. After all that, the Eminembot comes to life and Em begins levitating and walking on water, embodying the Rap God status. Eminem is a true artist, and this video puts all his other competitors to shame.
