'Wilderness' by Nick Jonas
When Nick Jonas said he was moving away from the whole purity ring thing he sure wasn't kidding. 'Chains' and 'Jealous' have given us a glimpse at a sexier side of Nick, but the latest cut off his upcoming self-titled album trumps them all.
On 'Wilderness', Nick fills us in on carnal lust, taking us back to the days of prehistoric sex. Literally. On the number he sings, "Before the fire / We discovered desire / There’s no use so you can just let me hear you breathing / Or I’ll overheat it."
The song has a lighter vibe to it than its predecessors, but the 'Numb' singer plays with Southern swamp rock on this one as he croons over the top. It's quite different, but it's a banger that continues to show off his versatility.
Nick Jonas's self-titled debut album will be released on November 11th.
