'Unlock Your Heart' Music Video by Kenyth Mogan
Kenyth Mogan is an artist I have had the pleasure of working with for a year and a half now. I've been supporting him since he released his debut EP Fall Apart (which is sensational and you should listen to it if you haven't already). He's the lovable "wholesome homo" who is making strides as an out gay artist.
Kenyth is back with his new single 'Unlock Your Heart' which was originally on Fall Apart but has been remastered and is available in its new form on iTunes. The music video dropped this weekend and is right up my lane. As anyone knows, I'm a diehard Wizard of Oz fan, and Kenyth is giving me everything I love.
In the video, Kenyth is in love with the Tin Man (played by the devilishly handsome Ronnie Kroell) who happens to be straight. Kenyth keeps getting shut down at every turn, but it's at his backyard BBQ with his fellow Ozians when he looses it. With his ruby Converse on, Kenyth grabs a chainsaw and hacks the Tin Man to bits after seeing him flirt with Dorothy.
Liberated from his tin prison, the Tin Man is in his human form (and quite a specimen he is) and kisses Kenyth. Finally having seen the light, the Tin Man and Kenyth live their lives happily ever after. It's cute, it's kitschy, it's downright fun.
