Violet Chachki, winner of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7, is keeping her music career going with the latest single from her debut EP Gagged. Following the industrial club banger 'Bettie', Violet is back with what I personally think is one of the best songs a Ru Girl has ever released.

Coinciding with the release of her EP, Violet dropped the video for the second single 'Vanguard'. The song is a massive, immersive sonic soundscape unlike anything a queen has ever released. The beat bangs and pounds as Violet sings above it. And lyrically it couldn't be more tailored to Violet as she is breaking boundaries and is truly a vanguard in the drag scene.

The video is equally impressive. It starts with Violet walking into a restaurant where she is viciously attacked by thugs, but this queen doesn't back down. She fights back like the badass she is and suddenly the entire restaurant is taking down the guys.

Interspersed are scenes where we see her cinched for the gods as well as taking to her signature silks. She even looks stunning with synthetic breasts that she eventually tears away. It's avant garde, it's trendsetting, it's beyond. Come through!!
