I'm back from vacation and that can only mean one thing: a plethora of new posts! And what better way to kick things off than with the premiere of a new No Doubt tune. No Doubt is a hugely successful ska band that has had some huge hits over the years. They were actually the first band that I ever fell in love with after I saw the music video for 'Hey Baby' on MTV one day. The band, headed by the incredible Gwen Stefani, has always been one whose sound is off the beaten path, but always seems to take over the music scene. Having not released an album since 2001's Rock Steady, the band finally released their new single 'Settle Down' just this morning and the wait could not have been more worth it. The song is very reggae influenced, but it sounds like it is current and could be a huge hit on the radio. Gwen comes back with her signature vocals, and when blended with the signature sound of the band it is no secret that No Doubt is back! I love the song, and tonight we will be getting the premiere of the music video. If you're waiting for more, the wait won't be too long as their new album, Push and Shove, will be released on September 25th. I'm so excited to see Gwen Stefani and No Doubt back in the spotlight as they have been sorely missed in the music scene for years.
