Remember Phillip Phillips? He won American Idol back in May, and his song 'Home' has been ratcheting up the charts in the past few weeks. Just this past week, his single catapulted to the #1 position on the iTunes chart, having sold more than 200,000 copies in the past week alone thanks to NBC's coverage of the Olympics. They have been using his song in some of their promos, and it seems to have really struck a chord with America. I have already said this, but I think his Winner's Single is the best one to have ever been chosen on the show. I've actually heard it being played on the radio! Trying to capitalize on all this success, Phillip released his debut music video a few days ago. The video chronicles his time while on the American Idols Live 2012 tour as he travels the country and meets new people. It's a very heartwarming video that is sure to play up the American pride of the country. Nothing special, but it's here to tide us over until the release of his debut album later this year.
