I can't believe it's been 10 days since my last post! The world of music has been pretty slow lately and hasn't been churning out anything worthy of writing about so I apologize. But finally we have something. For World Humanitarian Day, Beyoncé performed and recorded a video for her song 'I Was Here' off her album 4 for the aptly-titled "I Was Here" campaign. This is one of my favorite songs off the album, and of course Beyoncé performs the heck out of it as she is accompanied by scenes poverty, death and destruction. It's a beautiful video and carries a powerful message.
