With the successful single 'Lights', Ellie Goulding has become a household name in America and has finally begun her world expansion. I've known about Ellie for many years, but I never took the time to listen to her music and really enjoy what a great artist she is. 'Lights' was one of my favorite songs of the summer, and so now I'm hooked on Ms. Goulding. She is getting ready to release her new album Halycon in October, and the first single from the album is 'Anything Could Happen'. The song is Ellie's signature synth pop sound, but unlike 'Lights' which is a big upbeat song, 'Anything Could Happen' is a beautiful song full of emotion. It's a song that is full of hope and positivity, and when mixed with Ellie's gorgeous vocals a fantastic song is produced. Hopefully it gets played on the radio here and Ellie can find continued success in the U.S.
