After four long years, one of music's greatest bands has reunited and released their first single off their upcoming album Save Rock and Roll. The single, 'My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up)', could not be a better comeback single from the band. It's everything I could have hoped for and more. It's definitely their signature sound, but they refresh themselves and throw some hip-hop and R&B infused electro pop into their alt rock sound to create a concoction that is music to my ears. Brevity is not one of their strong suits when it comes to song titles - all the more reason why this is such a great song. It's got an epic chorus that will have people all over the world chanting at the top of their lungs. Hopefully Fall Out Boy will restore the type of alt rock music that has been sorely lacking during their hiatus.
