'If We Had Your Eyes' deals with the limitations we have in life not being able to see into the future and know what's waiting for us, unlike God who has a plan for us. We struggle with our issues at hand and sometimes can't see past our current, unpleasant situations. In the video, there is a homeless man and a beautiful woman who cuts herself. Michelle deals with these two people, pleading to God that they can see through His eyes because they would be able to get through their dark days. The woman cutting herself is very graphic, and strikes straight to the heart. Michelle has created a powerful visual to accompany her song that should get people talking. I really love it, and I'm so excited to see what the former Destiny's Child member has in store for us.
