Dido has had many hits over the years, including 'Here With Me' and 'White Flag', and on November 25th she is releasing a greatest hits album. The first single from the album is the new track 'NYC'. The song is much different from what she usually does, taking a more dance pop route. It reminds me a lot of Madonna's incredible Confessions On a Dance Floor album which is awesome because that's one of the best pop albums ever recorded. And of course how can you not love a song written about New York? It's a beautiful ode to this wonderful concrete jungle, and 'NYC' is another fabulous offering from Dido.
