'Chandelier' by Sia

Most people know Sia as the vocalist featured on David Guetta's 'Titanium' among the other massive pop hooks that she has sung. But in reality, Sia has had her own musical career in the past and is one of the most prolific pop writers of our time, working with everyone from Rihanna to Britney Spears to Céline Dion as well as penning a few tracks on the new Kylie Minogue record. Stepping out from behind the curtain, 2014 is gonna be Sia's year.

It's no secret that Sia is one of the most extraordinary writers out there right now, and thankfully she's gracing us with new music of her very own. Today she released her brand new single 'Chandelier'. The song starts off with an R&B club beat and I can't help but thinking that Rihanna could have snatched up this song and had a 'Diamonds'-esque hit with it. But thankfully the Australian songstress held onto it for herself.

While she goes pseudo-Caribbean on the verses, when the chorus hits it's like getting hit by a train. Sia launches into it and belts like never before as her voice cascades over the pounding beat which threatens to blow out your eardrums. The song is simply a gargantuan mammoth track that is sure to blaze the charts and give Sia another hit under her belt. I simply cannot express how much I love this woman.
