'Cherry Pop' by Alexandra Stan

Alexandra Stan is the woman behind 2011's ear-worm hit 'Mr. Saxobeat'. You couldn't escape its clutches, and still to this day it gets played on the daily. It's cheesy Euro-pop at its finest, but Alexandra is trying her luck to erase her one-hit wonder status with a brand new tune.

Alexandra's new single 'Cherry Pop' will have you singing along in no time as she has once again perfected the catchy sing-along chorus. The song is heavily influenced by Romanian house and juxtaposes hard, grinding beats with beautiful twinkles that only add to the song's zany feel.

What exactly is Alexandra singing about? The jury's still out on that one, but I'd wager to say it's something pretty sexual. As for the video? It's quite a trip, perhaps outdoing the cheesiness of the song, if that's even possible. With bright colors and lots of wigs, it's very much got a J-Pop feel. What more can you want from a destined summer smash hit?
