Hilary Duff's comeback single 'Chasing the Sun' leaked yesterday and was met with largely negative reviews, but the song is officially released today and is accompanied by the music video. Thankfully Hilary made a cute video that is infinitely more interesting than the song.

Continuing with the care-free summery vibe that 'Chasing the Sun' has to offer, the video for the song takes that and brings it to life. In the video Hilary works in an office, but it's obviously not stimulating work as she often daydreams about escaping to a tropical island paradise accompanied by the chiseled man of her dreams who will give her massages on the beach.

Her daydreams and real life collide in humorous moments, particularly when she runs into a glass wall and tries to brush it off. There's no doubt Hilary has much better acting chops, and she's got quite the knack for comedy. The video ultimately ends with her throwing water on the executives as her two worlds collide for the last time, and she is immediately fired.

It's cute, it's fun, and it encapsulates the vibe of the song. I could watch this video all day, but the song just isn't up to par. Let's see what else you have in store for us, Hilary.
