'Run' by Nicole Scherzinger

The 'Your Love' chanteuse, Nicole Scherzinger, is prepping the release of her second studio album Big Fat Lie and after the debacle that was 'On the Rocks' anything could be better. Despite having an incredible voice, Nicole just doesn't usually connect with pop music. It's sad because she's so talented.

However, this little gem made it's way to the web after being played on a few radio stations. 'Run' is a power ballad unlike 'On the Rocks' and it actually works. It's very simple, just a piano beat and moody strings with Nicole wavering and eventually belting towards the end.

It's an emotional ballad that shows the strength and depth of her voice, and really lets her shine unlike her other music. But, sadly, she's a washed up Pussycat Doll that never gets the recognition she deserves. This song won't impact radio but I'm hoping that her album will be a solid effort like Killer Love.

Nicole Scherzinger's album Big Fat Lie will be released on October 20th.
