'7/11' Music Video by Beyoncé
Earlier this month it was announced that Beyoncé would be releasing the Platinum Edition of her incredible album BEYONCÉ that was released almost a year ago. The re-release will feature two new tracks, '7/11' and 'Ring Off', as well as four remixes including the incredible 'Flawless' with Nicki Minaj.
Yesterday the songs from the album leaked, and hours later Bey appropriately Beyoncé-d the video for the club banger '7/11'. The song isn't one of her best, and there's a reason why it didn't make it onto the original album. However, the song sees Bey at her most ratchet which is always fun.
"Smack that, clap that...like you don't care," she sings over the heavy trap-infused beat. Bey's voice is also auto-tuned galore which makes sense in the context of the song as it's all about partying. The video, however, is where the Queen shines.
Bey shot the entire video on her iPhone, and it's basically her and her dancers having fun in her hotel room. Bey dances around out on the balcony (in a KALE sweatshirt which I now need to own), and she twerks and even makes a human pyramid in her bathroom. What's even more astounding is that Beyoncé uses her mystical powers to transport us into the future where she celebrates both Christmas and New Year's.
BEYONCÉ: The Platinum Edition Box Set will be released on November 24th.
