'Infinity' by Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey's had a tumultuous year or two dealing with her break up with Nick Cannon, but she's in a better place and is the next female diva to take on a residency in Vegas. To support the residency, she's releasing a new version of her greatest hits album, now called #1 to Infinity. Unfortunately there's only one new song on the album.

Mariah is probably the shadiest star to ever live. She could give the girls of RuPaul's Drag Race a run for their money. Thankfully, she's using her heartbreak and shade throwing skills to her advantage in her latest release.

'Infinity' is the operatic diva's latest track and it's quite something. She brings us back to the early days with the R&B groove this midtempo has to offer, it's glittery production nostalgic. But it's the literally corny lyrics of the song that are getting all the attention.

Mimi uses this opportunity to put Nick Cannon on blast. She sings, "Ain't none of my business / It's tea, though" and "boy you actin' so corny like Fritos" are my personal favorites, but it's "everything you own boy you still owe" that cuts the deepest.

Mariah may be relying on her old ways and hilariously good bad lyrics to sell this song, but what does she care? She's Mariah. And let's not forget the soaring note at the end followed by the cackle. Don't mess with Mimi.

Mariah's greatest hits album, #1 to Infinity, will be released on May 18th.
