Countdown to the Crown: Violet Chachki
As we approach the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race this Monday, I wanted to revisit the Top 3 and see all that they have to offer. Ginger, Pearl and Violet are fighting for the crown, but who will be crowned America's Next Drag Superstar and who will sashay away?
Violet Chachki may be the youngest in the competition, and her bitchy attitude initially turned everyone off, but she has consistently given us some of the most gag-worthy looks of the season. Referring to herself as a blend of the old and new schools of drag, this queen has it all.
Starting from the very first week where she won the nude illusion challenge, Violet has been slaying us left and right with her unforgettable looks. I mean, her tartan reveal and Death Becomes Her-inspired looks are the most talked about of the season. With that itty bitty waste, she effortlessly blends styles and reminds me a lot of Raja in her array of looks.
Not only does she dress well, but she can also act and dance. She may not have been the best in every challenge, but she fully immersed herself and never held back. Her Alyssa Edwards impersonation during Snatch Game was spot on. Plus, she's the only queen this season to have never had to lip sync for her life.
Will the queen with the smallest waste in Drag Race herstory take home the crown? Find out tonight at 9pm on Logo TV.
