By now everyone should know who Skylar Grey is.  She made her big mainstream-debut by being featured on Diddy-Dirty Money's 'Coming Home', and she has also been featured on Dr. Dre's 'I Need a Doctor' and various others.  Skylar has a really fresh voice, and her take on music is very interesting as you will soon see.  Skylar is gearing up to release her debut album 'INVINSIBLE' later this year.  And yes, that is not a misspelling.  It is a combination of the words invincible and invisible, a combination that Skylar believes she embodies.
The first single from the album is 'Dance Without You' and it is a type of music that you don't usually hear anymore.  To me, it reminds me a lot of Bjork's music with its kind of exotic nature, and the fact that her voice is really captivating just creates an even better song.  The video is really interesting and evan a little disturbing.  The video depicts Skylar's alter-ego in a mental institution, and then the real Skyalr confronting her, most likely representing the title of her album.  It's a great concept and I hope you guys check her out.
