Nelly Furtado is back with her second single off her upcoming album, and this one is much more what her fans expect from her. After the disastrous performance of 'Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)', many people were upset with Nelly and hoped she had better material. Well, 'Spirit Indestructible' tells us that Nelly still has her musical talent. The song, starts off very "old Nelly" but is quickly infused with some big beats that raise the song up. Nelly sings with her beautiful and charming voice that captivates you, and makes you feel the lyrics of the song. The chorus is actually very catchy, and I'm singing it over and over in my head right now. The video is much better than the mess that was 'Big Hoops'. It begins with Nelly singing on a stage illuminated by a spotlight, and then when the hip-hop beats kick in we move to the great outdoors where Nelly is set free and her indestructible spirit has free reign. In every outfit Nelly looks stunningly gorgeous. It's a well-done video and has me praising Ms. Furtado once again. I cannot wait for her album to finally come out in September.
