'DTF' Music Video by Adore Delano

The Libra, party queen of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 and runner-up to Bianca Del Rio is starting her professional music career today. As Danny Noriega he competed on the seventh season of American Idol, but as Adore Delano she's ready to take the world by storm.

Adore has said many times throughout her time on the show that she wants to be the next RuPaul in terms of her music, crossing over into the mainstream and becoming a legendary drag star. While I want that to happen more than anything, and knowing she has the goods to make it happen, I'm not sure if this song will do that.

The lead single from her debut album premiered at midnight, and it's a fun one. 'DTF', if you're not hip and cool, means "down to fuck" and Adore's goin' in telling us she's horny as hell in this song. I absolutely love her voice as she's got an incredible tone, and it layers nicely over the blaring hip-hop beat. It takes the campy Grindr-loving side of drag queens and mixes it with a well-produced beat for something more than just mediocre.
The video is really the shining star in all this. Adore brings us her Azusa roots in this one as she brings her posse with a badass gay couple and a pregnant chick to the laundromat where she gets more than she bargained for. While people aren't happy to see this flaming group of homosexuals walking in, there's one shirtless hunk who is quite clearly DTF.

With a cute nod to Mean Girls, Adore throws her pink Wednesday-emblazoned panties over her shoulder and the guy is quick to rip his own undies off. They ride off into the sunset to complete the perfect dirty romance. The cinematography is really great, and the slo-mo is done so well. And we can't forget how stunning Adore looks. She is beat to the gods.

While I don't think this song will get her any mainstream success, I know she has it in her to make that jump. Adore was one of my favorites this year, and I'm so excited for her career to finally blossom. Adore's debut album Till Death Do Us Party is out June 3rd, and I'm sure it'll be full of massive hits.
