'Big Girls Cry' by Sia

Pop hit-maker of the world and elusive chanteuse Sia Furler is currently slaying your faves without ever showing her face. She's on her path towards world domination, and following the release of promo single 'Eye of the Needle' from her album 1000 Forms of Fear, she's allowing us to explore yet another one of her fears.

Even though it wasn't meant to be released until next week, like everything else in the music world it arrived prematurely. Not to be confused with Fergie's career-defining hit 'Big Girls Don't Cry', Sia's 'Big Girls Cry' completely refutes Fergie's self-assured outlook on life. She lets us in to see her traumatic life.

Sia lays it out plainly above a swelling beat, "Big girls cry when their hearts are breaking." It's a much simpler tune than 'Chandelier' or 'Eye of the Needle', but it works with Sia in such a vulnerable state. Much of it is sung in her warbled style, making it difficult to parse out the lyrics but that just adds to the darkness and mystery of it all.

Sia's 1000 Forms of Fear is set to be released on July 8th.
