'Animals' by Maroon 5
Maroon 5 have dominated radio this summer with their successful single 'Maps', and just recently they released the massive synth-pop tune 'It Was Always You' from their upcoming album V. The band will be playing the MTV Video Music Awards for the first time ever this Sunday, and in anticipation they just dropped a new single.
'Animals' serves as the official second single from V, and the band are giving us something a little bit different once again. 'Animals' is still a huge tune, but this time it's got a bit of a reggae flair. While not being the most lyrically spectacular song they've ever released, 'Animals' still has that earworm hook and bombastic production melded with Adam Levine's sultry vocals which will ensure its success.
Maroon 5's new album V is set to be released on September 2nd. Make sure to catch their MTV Video Music Awards debut this Sunday at 9pm.
