Icona Pop are gearing up for the release of their debut album which could not get here any sooner, and in preparation for the release of This Is... Icona Pop the Swedish duo released a new promotional track. 'In the Stars' is featured on the album, but the girls decided to drop a remixed version of the track which is cool because we get an extra taste of the album, but the surprise isn't totally ruined since we haven't heard the official track yet. I'm actually really in love with this song. It finally doesn't follow the repetitive pattern of their latest singles with the chanting vocals and the same overall chorus structure. But nevertheless it's extremely catchy. I'm starting to think Icona Pop can't write a bad song. The beat is awesome as well, with some beautiful synth and electropop bliss that creates another euphoric track. At this rate, This Is... Icona Pop will be one of the best albums of the year.
